As the charity dedicated to Coastguard personnel and their families in their time of need, we are constantly looking for new ways to support our people past, present and future.
And with this in mind, we have collaborated with The Trussell Trust and can now provide foodbank vouchers to serving and former Coastguards who are facing challenging times.
Hardship can affect us all for many reasons and in the current financial climate with the cost of living becoming more challenging, people may be faced with tough choices to ensure they can put food on the table.
The need for emergency food provisions has risen sharply with the Trussell Trust providing 2.9 million emergency food parcels in the last year and documenting a 51 per cent increase in help provided in the last five years.
If you need assistance, we can now quickly provide foodbank vouchers electronically to use at your local foodbank across the country.
