On the 8th May we held a charity 5 a side football knockout competition at Staples Vegetables near Boston, Lincolnshire.
We had 8 teams take part including a fire brigade and Coastguard teams. During the day we had a free BBQ for all to enjoy. We also had a tombola and donation buckets being passed around.
We are very proud to announce that we raised £540 for both The Coastguard Association and LIVES first responders!
We will be getting the cheques out as soon as possible!
The 42nd Annual General Meeting of the Coastguard Association took place at 10:00 on Saturday 24th March at the Muckleburgh Military Collection Museum, Weybourne Camp, Weybourne Road, Holt, Norfolk NR25 7EH.
We will post the 2018 minutes shortly but meanwhile, congratulations to the Sherringham Branch of the CGA for being nominated the Chairman’s Branch of the Year!

Thank you to the Moelfre Coastguard Rescue Team in Anglesey for theeir kind donation of £200 for the Coastguard Association that they have collected from collection tins in their local area.
Four members of the Hartland Coastguard team – Chris Johns, James Morley, Kevin Rowe and Jack Coleman are going to do a 10k run in aid of the Coastguard Association.
For two of the team it’s their first ever 10km event and that is a huge achievement so please help by showing your support and helping them raise money for the Coastguard Association.
They will be participating in the Bideford 10k on May 15th 2016.
Everyone here at the CGA wishes them the best of luck and a successful training.
